A Voice For
Working People
1
Retain and attract good jobs across West Sacramento by fostering a supportive business environment, investing in workforce development, enhancing local infrastructure, and collaborating with labor unions to ensure fair labor practices and quality working conditions are achieved.
2
Prioritize traffic mitigation and infrastructure improvements to enhance connectivity, reduce congestion, and support economic growth. Additionally, building out the Port of West Sacramento by expanding facilities, upgrading cargo handling systems, and improving access roads and railway will further boost connectivity and stimulate regional economic development.
3
Prioritize practical and effective public safety solutions that address community needs, enhance emergency response, and ensure overall well-being. By investing in modern technologies and training for first responders, it improves readiness and efficiency. District 2 has some of the highest crime rates in the region, Tim will ensure all our first responders have the resources and funding they need to keep our community safe.
4
Invest in the next generation of West Sacramentans by enhancing educational resources, providing more career opportunities, supporting local initiatives, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive community.
5
Make West Sacramento a more affordable place to live by advocating for increased affordable housing developments and creating incentives for developers to build low-cost units. By supporting policies that lower utility costs and improve local infrastructure efficiency we can reduce the financial burden of residents.
6
Addressing the homeless crisis in West Sacramento requires supporting initiatives like Project Roomkey and Homekey which are the essential first steps. However, these programs alone are not enough, we must create a comprehensive approach to helping our most vulnerable residents succeed. We must enhance the availability of resources for mental health and addiction services to address some of the underlying issues that contribute to homelessness. Equally important is expanding workforce development opportunities, which help individuals with the skills and support they need to secure stable employment and achieve long-term stability.
